Luke Weaver, Kansas City Royals pitcher, uses his glove to share his Christian faith with the world.
The glove’s design resembles the binding of an old leather Bible. He wears a cross, a crown of thorns, the phrase «His glory» and his favorite bible verses. According to Sports Spectrum, Weaver says:
It’s just a way of showing the world that in this fight, in this race, in this personality and in this expression, this is what I have chosen.

Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Matthew 19:26: But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
1 Corinthians 16:13: Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Weaver says he hopes more kids wear a glove like his, whether on their travels, in little league, in high school and college.
